A Viking born in USA and his warring grandchildren ...

Warrior's Tale - an incredibly personal guy who proved to be extremely capable. Yesterday he took his second victory in 5 attempts. Johnny Takter guided him through the field and finally won quite easily. "Warriors" is extremely influenced by his father Raja Mirchi, both movement patterns, appearance and personal characteristics. Personally, I do not think Raja Mirchi has received the recognition he really deserves. He has certainly received the Elite Stallion award, but the question is whether the common man knows that Raja, by percentage, has the same number of millionaires as Maharajah.

In the picture Viking Kronos, as known father of both Raja Mirchi & Maharajah. The "Viking" lives a wonderful life on Vomb, he is king in the stable as he should be, and still gilds his surroundings with his enormous personality and charisma. The Viking was born in the USA, his American mother Conch competed successfully on the other side of the Atlantic and was bought after her racing career by Thomas Moberg. Her first offspring King Conch (born at the traditional Erikssund Stud) was barely beaten in Hambletonian by Alf Palema. Conch was then boarded in the United States and covered with American Winner. This cross turned out to be a real hit. Lutfi Kolgjini had anticipated this early on and only on the pedigree was the offspring very interesting, that it then peeked out a very special individual made it no less interesting. The Viking flew to Italy and in the paddock just outside Padua he ruled and set as a one-year-old, kept the whole flock going from morning to evening. To make the story extremely short, the Viking finally landed on Vomb ... and the rest is history. Eyes tear up on both the audience and the narrator when Thomas and Lutfi tell about everything they were through during the time when the Viking was trained as a young horse, the racing career, the management as a breeding stallion, etc., etc. That he has since been a hugely successful heir makes the story almost something of a "Neverending Story". Thank goodness that we breeders have the opportunity to continue breeding on this fantastic Viking blood from a far-away land.

Ms Stone & Warrior's Tale

Back to our breeding Warrior's Tale. We hope and believe that he (and also his siblings) can give their owners many great experiences in the future. His mother Ms Stone has really meant a lot to us. She has laid the entire foundation for our breeding business, I would like to say. All of the offspring we have received have enormously fine "engines" in the form of good depth and fine hips. This year we have a colt by Perfect Spirit, Largo Winch.
